Tarek El Moussa’s kidswill be spending Christmas Day at their dad’s house this year — and the father of two couldn’t be more excited to spend the holiday with everyone he loves.
PEOPLE spoke with theFlip or Flopstar, 38, and his new girlfriend,Heather Rae Young of Netflix’sSelling Sunset, 32, about their holiday plans, and all they have planned for El Moussa’s two kids,Taylor Reese, 9, andBrayden James, 4, whom he shares with ex-wifeChristina Anstead.
“We’ll be doing some wintertime swimming and cooking and doing presents and all the family stuff,” says El Moussa of their Christmas Day plans. Young, whoquickly bonded with El Moussa’s family, plans on baking cookies with the kids — both vegan for her and non-vegan for El Moussa, whom she jokes is “about 73 percent” vegan.

“We had a lot of fun doing that a few months ago, so we’ll probably add that in as a Christmas tradition,” Young says of baking.
Afterconfirming their relationship back in August, this will be the real estate experts’ first Christmas together as a couple — and the two seem thrilled to be reaching new milestones and making new memories as a pair.
“We have the best time together. He’s my best friend and I love his family, so I’m really excited to spend [Christmas] with them,” says Young.

El Moussa agrees: “We’re super excited. Everything has been going so awesome and we just love spending time together. These are all new experiences and it’s fun to share these experiences with someone new. It’s very fun.”
The pair are set to go on a trip to Mammoth Mountain after the holiday — Young an avid skier, while El Moussa is skilled on a snowboard. It will be their first ski trip together.
The duo have been sharing a lot of their lives on Instagram lately, from theirrecent trip to Europeto some upscale events they have attended together.

On Monday, El Moussa posted a photo to Instagram of the two of them duringa picturesque date night in Los Angeles, both dressed to the nines, with Young was wearing an all-white gown.
He continued: “The moment I saw her in this white dress my heart raced and my palms got sweaty…I just love her All I can say is life is good and I’m happier and healthier then ever!!”
TheFlip or Flopstar again brought up the stunning dress, concluding his caption with a subtle wedding reference: “Tell me!!!!!! Do you love this dress or what!? I do!!!!!”
On her Instagram, Young shared another look at her stellar attire, asking in hercaptionwhether her followers “like this look on me?”
El Moussa took the opportunity to share his affinity for the dress in the comment section, writing, “Just unbelievable,” to which she replied with a blush emoji and “love you.”

El Moussa and Young were first spotted kissing on a boat in July, andconfirmed their relationshipin August, when he wrote on Instagram that he “never thought” he’d “meet someone special in my life after the last three years. Then…out of the blue @heatherraeyoung walked into my life.”
“The first time I saw her smile she ‘did that thing to my tummy’ and I knew right away I needed to get to know her… so I asked her out!! She said yes,” hewrotealongside several photos of the pair.
