In a clip, the crowd cheered as Gomez joined Martin, 46, who grinned widely as the “Single Soon” singer began the heartfelt tune.

Gomez also shared another image of the long black gown and silver sequined boots she wore for the performance and a clip of H.E.R, 26, joining the duo for the song.

The star spoke about the documentary at the Universal Music Group and Thrive Global’s first Music & Health conference in September, revealing that at first, she was “very against” filming the documentary, which was released in November 2022.

“There was a very long period of time where I just didn’t know if it was a good idea,” Gomez said, perThe Hollywood Reporter. “I knew, eventually, one day I wanted to maybe just be an actress for a while, and I didn’t know if it would jeopardize things in my life.”

Despite initially questioning whether it was a good idea to let people into her life, theRare Beauty founderfelt “like a huge weight was lifted,” when the show aired and openly addressed such personal matters as her body image issues, painful lupus flare-ups and ongoing journey with mental health.

“I felt like I got to say things that I’ve been keeping in for years,” Gomez added. “It’s very hard for me to watch. I will never watch it again, but I’m very proud of it. I couldn’t have been luckier to have the people that worked on it with me.”
