Rami Malekhad to wait almost two months before getting a chance to see a very special photo he took withPaul McCartneylast year.
The actor first toldJimmy Kimmelin January about the missing picture shortly afterwinning a Golden Globefor his portrayal of Freddie Mercury inBohemian Rhapsody.
“I got taken backstage, as if I was Freddie Mercury, and then Paul goes, ‘I’m going to do my best Beatles pose, you do your best Freddie Mercury pose, and let’s take a photo,’ ” Malek shared, adding that his “fist just went straight up into the air.”

“I don’t have the photo,” he told the late night television host, before encouraging all of the viewers at home to help him “track it down.”
And about one month later, the 76-year-old musician’s daughter Mary, herself a professional photographer, found what Malek was looking for.
On Saturday, the actorposted the imageon his Twitter account, writing, “I will treasure this @PaulMcCartney. Thank you @maryamccartney.”
TheMr. Robotstar studied Mercury’s life and mannerisms very closely to perfect his performance, he previously toldEntertainment Weekly.
“I would consistently go back to his interviews and performances just to understand the [different] sides of him,” Malek said. “Obviously, there is a very brave, brash entertainer who hits the stage. And then there is a human being who can be reclusive and lonely behind closed doors.”

In addition to picking up a Golden Globe, aScreen Actor’s Guild award, and aBAFTA, for his role as Mercury, Malek is also nominated for Best Actor award at this year’s Oscats.
Malek has also been lucky offscreen when it comes to finding love.
The actor first confirmed his romance with his costarLucy Boyntonat the Palm Springs International Film Festival’s Film Awards Gala earlier this month with a sweet shoutout to the 24-year-old actress while accepting the award for breakthrough performance.
“Thank you, Lucy Boynton. You have been my ally, my confidant, you are my love,” he said. “I appreciate you so much.”
