The ghosts' presence became most pronounced, Richards explains, afterher mom, Kathleen Richards, died in 2002.

“I’ve lost both my parents and I’ve had some things happen,” she explains. “Like a lot of things happen — especially after my mom passed away.”

And even though Richards says doesn’t feel that the ghosts are malevolent, she still notices strange things, which she attributes to her old home.

She notes that Smokey Robinson had previously owned the home, and he even confronted her regarding the hauntings at an Oscars party this past year.

“He said, ‘Oh, have you heard the footsteps yet?'” she recalled. “I did not need to hear that. I was like, ‘I wanted to believe that I was imagining it.’ But the funny thing is like, it feels safe. It’s, like, a good experience.”

Clarksonlooked scary good during her Halloween episode, dressed as a vampire with pale makeup, “fangs,” smoky eye makeup, and red “blood” dripping down her cheeks. She also wore a tight long-sleeved black dress and a matching choker, with long crimped hair.

“I love Halloween so much,” Clarkson said at the beginning of the episode, after coveringOlivia Rodrigo’s “Vampire.” “We are all different versions of vampires… I am Rock and Roll Vampire. That’s what I’m claiming, ‘cause we just went with it!”
