Jana Kramerhas apologized after facing backlash for claiming shewould never hire a “hot” nannyfor her children.

“People think I meant the nanny deserved it cause she is hot. I did NOT say that NOR would I ever say that or think that,” Kramercaptioned a photoof her and husbandMike Caussinholding their 4-month-old sonJace Joseph. “No one ever deserves to be sexually assaulted in the workplace based on what they wear or how they look. Period.”

“Not that I don’t trust my husband, I just think it’s not smart [to hire an attractive nanny],” Kramer said at the time. “I mean, you look at some of these nannies, and I’m like, ‘Well, you kinda asked for it, she’s kinda hot.’ You know what I mean? You’re in close quarters.”

“You are insulting anentire profession of hardworking womenthat are taking care of your kids. And it wasn’t taken out of context. You asked for nanny horror stories to back it up. No need to be putting women down in this decade for working hard. No matter what we are wearing,” she wrote to the star.

She continued, “To see women encouraging other women to share horror stories about their whorish nannies is DISGUSTING.”

In her lengthy Instagram post on Monday, Kramer explained that she and her podcast co-hosts were simply talking about not “bringing temptation” into their homes, and that while they enjoy stirring the pot, it was never their intention to offend.

“For the nannies I have offended I’m sorry,” she wrote. “The funny thing is all my past nannies have been beautiful and I never caredbecause they LOVED my childrenand that’s what it’s about. At the end of the day people will cheat no matter what and it doesn’t matter what someone looks like.”

“It’s not about how hot the nanny is, or how big of boobs ur nanny has or what she is wearing … it’s about BOUNDARIES and TRUST … ” she wrote. “It truly is about having healthy boundaries with your spouse.”
