Giuliana Rancic’s 6½-year-old sonEdward Dukeis already building up an impressive résumé.

“Duke loved the whole process,” Rancic tells PEOPLE for this week’s issue of teaming up with her son on the designs. “The clothes are all about being stylish, but they have to be functional and fun too. Kids want to be comfortable!”

In a cute promo snapshot, the mother of one posed with her son, who wore the new line’s colorfulpalm-tree-decorated Logo Hoodie($40).

Rancic was involved in the design steps from the get-go, but made sure to get Duke’s opinion on the items, which includeflip sequin topsandgraphic tees.

“I would ask him, ‘What do you think of this? Would you wear this? What color should it be?’ " she recalls. “He got to collaborate.”

Duke also scored a tripto Abercrombie’s headquartersin New Albany, Ohio, where he experimented with screen printing.

And it sounds like this may not be the last partnership for the mother-son team, whose new designs are available to preview now onabercrombie.com. (With early purchase access for members!)

“Everything turned out so cute,” says Rancic of the line, which officially launches on Sunday, according toher Instagram account. “And we had so much fun doing it together!”
