Her lip were all that was visible under her long , hooded cloak , but Abda distinguish her anyway . She only like she were on Dalna to take in the Mother ’s peach and mind as she whispered the true statement of the macrocosm . Now , she was smiling for Abda . “ Hello , Abda . ”
“ Do you require me to awake Serrena ? ” Abda glanced back , but the Mother tutted her tongue against straight tooth .
“ rent ’s not awaken her just yet . She has her instructions . ”
“ I ’m sorry we ’ve neglect you . I — ”
“ Never , ” she articulate , her image rattle . The private relay systems in their sector were precarious , and Abda cursed them for interrupting even a breath of her audience with the Mother . “ You have not failed me . ”
Abda nodded , cheeks hurt from smiling . She did n’t experience it could suffer to smile . “ I would never . ”
