FCC Commissioner Jessica Rosenworcel allege on Wednesday that she want to slow down down the reassessment mental process for the net disinterest rulesdue to the public recoil .
“ For this reason , I think we should delay our thoughtfulness of his rules by a least a month,”she say . “ I believe that rushing headlong into a rulemaking next workweek fails to respect the public response to his proposal . ”
Well , that ’s a relief . The rules , proposedrecently proposedby the FCC chair and former big telecom lobbyist Tom Wheeler , were widely criticized for allowing internet companies to pay for better treatment from service provider . In essence , the rules would insure that internet regulationwould be the opposite of impersonal . It ’s unclear if the FCC will listen to Rosenworcel , but at least we know that the commissioners are listening . [ @TonyRomm ]
