We already know that the Fastap alternative typing systemisn’t as tight as publicize . But can the next genesis be any good ? Here are two working designs of how the next Fastap SureType will search . One is a QWERTY - ish layout with two letters per key , and the other is an alphabetical layout with one letter per Florida key . Will any of these fly ? I ’d rather just stick to T9 — after years of practice , I ’m better on that than I am on a pocket - QWERTY .
