The Time Guardianis one of those tardy eighties flick that has pretty much everything . Cyborgs with horn , time - move around city , Carrie Fisherin futuristic armour , Dean “ Cavil ” Stockwell in a weird necklace , and a whole bunch of Australians .
Actually I ’m not sure why there are so many Australians , or why this picture show is set in Australia . But I can tell you that the premise is actually kind of cool . A city travels through time to escape a bunch of shuddery cyborgs who have devastated Earth . Things have been pretty mellow for 100 of class when suddenly the scary cyborg come back , and the urban center has to flee through time .
In this thrilling montage of clips , you may see what happens when the bionic man first arrive in the future and Cavil capture all pissy . Then our slow hero yells a pot and Carrie Fisher count upset . What you wo n’t see is the boring , cyborg - less middle of the movie when Carrie and zep son go back to the eighties and hook up with a hot Australian archaeologist . Why do they travel back in time ? I ’m not certain just , but I think it ’s to scout for novel metropolis placement .

Unfortunately the cyborgs conform to them back , and team up up with a bunch of corrupted Australian cops , and jailhouse cyborg fu ensues . last , the city arrives back in the eighties and Carrie has to fight a cyborg without her futurist armor . Bummer . But at least the hero got his hot archaeologist , and the urban center is still surrounded by crude Tron - esque CGI that says “ time travel . ”
Anyway the important thing is that now you know what happen whenPrincess Leiafights a tusk cyborg . And you jazz what Cavil depend like in a blue jumper with a gold dose on his chest . Plus , that necklace ! Fashion of the hereafter really suit Cavil , do n’t you remember ?
