Cara Delevingne may be on hiatus from the fashion industry, but on each stop of her press tour for her new film Suicide Squad, the former catwalk star has proven once a supermodel, always a supermodel.
After debuting a fresh lob a few weeks ago, it appears as though Delevingne has also given her personal style a mini makeover as well, channeling her edgy aesthetic into a series of pitch perfect high fashion looks, proving there’s a reason she’s starred on pretty much every major magazine cover the world over.
On Sunday, the actress stepped out in NYC wearing a full look from Emanuel Ungaro’s Spring 2016 ready-to-wear collection, consisting of a black and white lattice-print, ruffle front button down tucked into some very fancy 3-D embellished black shorts worn over fishnets with not particularly seasonally apropos thigh-high leather boots.

She later transitioned this look into the perfect evening ensemble, stepping out to dinner at Belle Reve in the same top, but this time paired with a smartly tailored pinstripe suit and a makeup-free face.

Cara also demonstrated how to give a very grown-up twist to all of your favorite 90s trends that are making a comeback right now, giving her messy double buns a more sophisticated vibe thanks to this structural Alexandre Vauthier jumpsuit layered over a Caterina Gatta fishnet top, cinched with an oversized green bow at the waist, and finished off with lace-up heels.
And let’s not forget the look that kicked off this entire stylish spree. Delevingne wore a bold, blue Versace look to ComicCon on Tuesday, touching on all of this season’s trends from high-waisted pants to crop tops and turtlenecks.
