During the latest episode ofWhen Reality Hits, her podcast withestranged husbandJax Taylor, the pair discussed Cartwright’s look in the teaser for the new Bravo reality series,The Valley.

In the clip, Cartwright, 35, wears a bandage around her head and explains that she’s had liposuction in her chin after feeling “self-conscious” for “the longest time.”

The reality star then said on Thursday’s episode of the podcast, “I feel like almost all season long, I’m going to have a frown face."

“And there is no context [in] the trailer of what is going on with my freaking mouth,” she added while speaking to Taylor, 44, and guestKristen Doute, 41.

“My mouth is back to normal now, thank God!” Cartwright insisted.

“Like, three weeks before we started filming, I had work done on my double chin. He did a little bit of lipo under my double chin. And then he did this thing called Morpheus8,” Cartwright said, referring to the microneedling face treatment. “I’ll just go ahead and say it: double chins — we call it the turkey gobbler — runs in my family.”

“For majority of the season, it’s going to look like whenever I’m upset or something, that I’ve got, like, a frowning face,” Cartwright continued of theVanderpump Rulesspinoff’s first season. “And in the beginning, it was so hilarious because I had to literally put my finger on my bottom lip so that I could speak because my bottom lip would not move up and down.”

Whilespeaking exclusively to PEOPLEat Thursday’s Los Angelespremiere ofThe Valley, Taylor opened up about what it’s been like having the support of friends after the split.

“There’s a lot of people going through what I’m going through right now, and marriage is not easy. It’s not, you know. It’s a lot of work and there’s a lot of ups and downs,” Taylor, who shares 2-year-old son Cruz with Cartwright, said.

“It’s tough, it’s tough, but we’re handling it the best way we can,” he added.

The Valleypremieres Tuesday, March 19, on Bravo following a new episode ofVanderpump Rules, and episodes will stream next day on Peacock. Beginning Tuesday, March 26, the series will move to its regular timeslot of 9 p.m. ET/PT.
