Britney Spearsis full of praise forJustin Timberlake’s new single“Selfish.”

Inan Instagram postshared on Sunday, Spears, 42, celebrated Timberlake’s lead single and his second new track “Sanctified,” which hedebuted onSaturday Night Liveat the weekend.

Spears, who split from Timberlake in 2002, also said sorry to anyone she “offended” with her memoir,The Woman in Me, in the post.

“I wanna apologize for some of the things I wrote about in my book. If I offended any of the people I genuinely care about I am deeply sorry…” she wrote. “I also wanted to say I am in love with Justin Timberlake’s new song ‘Selfish’ 🌹 It is soo good and how come every time I see Justin and Jimmy together I laugh so hard ??? Ps ‘Sanctified’ is wow 🤩 too.”

“If it had been left up to me alone, I never would have done it. And yet Justin was so sure that he didn’t want to be a father,” she added.

She also wrote of her experience undergoing the abortion: “To this day, it’s one of the most agonizing things I have ever experienced in my life.”

Spears' memoir also delves into herconservatorship experience, relationship with her family and her“passionate” flingwithColin Farrell.

Meanwhile, her Instagram post comes after her2011 track “Selfish” overtook Timberlake’s songof the same name on iTunes following a push from her fans to support the 13-year-old track.

Timberlake’s “Selfish” and “Sanctified” feature on the father of two’s upcoming album,Everything I Thought It Was, which he will release on March 15.

The new record marks theTrolls Band Togetherstar’s first studio album since 2018’sMan of the Woods.

Speaking toZane Loweon Apple Music 1 about “Selfish” on Thursday, Timberlake said that his new material will give his fans a “real” perspective on his life.

“I was able, on some of the songs, to look back at the past and have a real, not a refracted perspective of what it was because they always say … you always hear that thing about, well, there’s never any truth, there’s just everybody’s perspective of what happened,” he said.

Timberlake also added, “But to really look at it and be able to metabolize and verbalize my perspective on it, I don’t think I’ve ever really done that before.”

With the new album also comes a new tour, as Timberlake announced hisForget Tomorrow World TouronThe Tonight Showto huge cheers.

“This is a world tour!” shouted Fallon excitedly during the episode. “It’s gonna be fun,” he added of the upcoming live performances, which begin in April in Vancouver, Canada.
