Announced today byBig Finish , Rose Tyler : The Dimension Cannon will be a serial of four audio dramas set between the case of “ Doomsday ” in Doctor Who ’s second time of year — in which Rose was cut off from the MD seemingly for good on a parallel existence — and “ The Stolen Earth / Journey ’s End ” in time of year four — which assure an older and overbold Rose return after a serial publication of dimension - hopping risky venture to help the Doctor and his allies save the entire multiverse .
The Dimension Cannon will see some of those adventures get to life story , as Rose uses the titular machine to travel through dying realities across the multiverse in her seeking to protect her family and relocate the Doctor . Alongside Piper ’s return as Rose , the serial publication will see Camille Coduri and Shaun Dingwall reprise their roles as Rose ’s parents , Jackie and Pete .
