We ’re not the biggest fans of iCloud’sPhoto Stream feature , largely because you ca n’t manually delete pictures saved to the cloud without wiping everything out . But as devs are noticing in iOS 5.1 Beta 2,that ’s about to change … kinda .
iCloud ’s Photo Syncing Is Terrible ( And Creepy )
According to Apple Insider , Photo Stream will cancel any photo that you delete from your earphone . It may not be full control condition , but at least it ’s a step towards making the lineament remotely functional .
Update : Some elucidation landed in our electronic mail :
The new photosteam acts just like a secondary tv camera roll . Any picture you take gets sum up to both and can be deleted from both , but must be done separately . So I take a private exposure , it gets added to both my photographic camera roll ( where I require it ) and my photo stream ( where I do n’t require it ) . I simply blue-pencil the photograph from my photo stream and it stick around on my camera roll .
So still kind of a painful sensation ! Just not quite as invading a pain . [ AppleInsider , Thanks , Scott ! ]
