Hubble just shot this motion-picture show of M13 , a “ globular cluster ” of 100,000 star all whirling around in extremely close law of proximity to each other . This cluster , which is about 150 light - years across , would make for a adorable home if you want to see a sky full of Sunday every day . And who does n’t want that ?
M13 is about 25,000 loose years away from us , and it contains some of the oldest headliner in the universe . The reddish stars you see here are red behemoth , nearing the end of their lifecycles .
